Personal finance, simplified
Welcome to Money-Wise.
A guided, manual-entry dashboard for seeing your net worth, budget, future projections, benchmarks, and car affordability in one place — without connecting a bank account.
- Start with your current numbers.
- Save snapshots so you can see progress over time.
- Use projections and tools to make clearer financial decisions.
Step 1
Track your net worth.
The Accounts page is where users enter their current financial picture. Money-Wise calculates assets minus liabilities and turns that into a clean dashboard view.
- Add cash, brokerage, retirement, property, vehicles, and other assets.
- Add credit cards, student loans, auto loans, mortgages, and other liabilities.
- Save snapshots whenever you want a new checkpoint in your net worth history.
Step 2
Build a monthly budget.
The Budget page helps users understand their monthly cash flow by comparing post-tax income, fixed expenses, goals, allocations, and leftover money.
- Enter post-tax income so the budget starts from a realistic monthly number.
- Track fixed expenses like rent, loans, subscriptions, insurance, and utilities.
- Use leftover money to see whether the plan has cushion or is over-allocated.
Step 3
Project where you could be headed.
The Projection page lets users model future net worth by age using account-level assumptions, recurring contributions, return rates, and liability payoff timing.
- Choose current age and target age to see a future-value estimate.
- Add recurring investment contributions to specific accounts.
- Adjust assumptions by account so projections feel more personal and realistic.
Step 4
Benchmark progress and make better decisions.
Money-Wise includes planning tools beyond the main dashboard so users can compare where they stand and think through bigger financial choices.
- Use Percentile to estimate how net worth compares with age-based ranges.
- Use Car to estimate affordability before buying or financing a vehicle.
- Use Notes, Calculator, and the AI planning assistant to organize questions and ideas.
Private account setup
Create an account and start tracking.
Money-Wise is now set up for Supabase login, so users can create an account before entering the app. The current version still uses manual entry and does not ask users for bank credentials or financial institution logins.
- Create an account with email and password.
- Use manual entry to control what financial information goes into the app.
- Export your data periodically as a backup.
- Do not enter sensitive login credentials, account numbers, or Social Security numbers.
- Money-Wise is a planning calculator and does not provide financial advice.
